Quang Tho Beach is located on the South China Sea (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 8th place out of 13 beaches in the Quang Binh region 34.8 km away from its center, the city of Dong Hoi. It is one of the beaches of Tho Don settlement, just 2.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The beach is stunningly long and unspoiled, with deep and beautiful water and gorgeous sand. However, there are only a few services available, such as pubs and beverage shops, and there is no centralized parking lot. The only place to bathe with fresh water is at the pub, but it comes at a steep price of 5k per bath and may seem a bit sketchy.
