A pretty beach, quite family-friendly. Pleasant swimming (although windy, as far as we were concerned). Lovely marine fauna and more depth for swimming than on the beaches we tested to the east of the island (La Saline, for example).

A beautiful beach in the south of the island between the main seafront beach of St Pierre and the fairground market at Ravine Blanche. Places to park on the boulevard which runs along the flowery cemetery, snacks to enjoy snacking while admiring the ocean and its waves which delight kite surfers in windy weather. The atmosphere is nice all day and in the evening where the milder temperature allows you to breathe and contemplate the present moment...
