Arecibo beach is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 131th place out of 224 beaches in the Puerto Rico region 54.7 km away from its center, the city of San Juan. It is one of the beaches of Arecibo settlement, just 9.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious several bays coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

The locals of Puerto Rico do not hold a favorable opinion towards a beautiful statue, owing to the historical oppression that was inflicted upon the island's original inhabitants by Columbus.

The beach is devoid of any commercialization, which may seem like a positive, but in reality, it only adds to the desolate and barren atmosphere. The raw natural beauty is uninviting and unwelcoming, with wild creatures lurking in the shadows, ready to pounce at any moment. The only way to experience this bleak landscape is through my pictures, as being here in person would only lead to disappointment and regret.
