Praia da Baleeira is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 137th place out of 152 beaches in the Algarve region 88.6 km away from its center, the city of Faro. It is one of the beaches of Sagres settlement, just 0.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a straight coastline with crystal blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
