Malhao Beach is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 25th place out of 55 beaches in the Alentejo region 160.3 km away from its center, the city of Santarem. It is one of the beaches of Ribeira da Azenha settlement, just 2.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Malhao Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities. This beach is popular for windsurfing or kiteboarding. There are also some surf spots.

While the summer season may determine its opening hours, it was open for business on July 5th. Malhão beach is a great destination for families, with its central location offering easy access to all amenities. For those seeking a little privacy, there are secluded sections separated by headlands. Just remember to bring your own snacks and drinks for a perfect day at the beach!
