The beach is absolutely breathtaking, with convenient access and ample parking to make your visit hassle-free. Its beauty is truly unparalleled, making it a must-see destination for any beach lover.
The breathtaking vistas and pristine surroundings of this beach make for an absolutely stunning experience. It is a truly picturesque location that exudes natural beauty and tranquility.
This beach is truly stunning. Even during the peak summer season, there is plenty of private space to enjoy. The landscape is breathtaking, with an array of plants and vegetation scattered throughout the dunes. The cliffs made of vibrant colored stones are a sight to behold, proving that nature can surpass even the most imaginative of paintings. Access to the beach is made easy by a beautifully crafted wooden footbridge, which also offers a delightful circular path with stunning viewpoints.
I have had the pleasure of visiting this beach multiple times during Aug and Sept 2019, and I must say it is an absolute gem. While the access may not be the easiest, I am grateful that the authorities have no plans to change it. This helps keep the crowds at bay, allowing for a more peaceful and serene beach experience. Interestingly, the only negative comments I have heard about this beach are from Portuguese people. Perhaps they are used to the more overcrowded beaches of the Algarve. It is important to note that there are no shops on this beach, so you must bring your own food and drink. Additionally, lifeguards are only present during the summer season. While this beach may not be ideal for young children due to its strong waves, current, and rocky terrain, it is perfectly suitable for all during low tide. The sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking. It is also worth mentioning that the north side of the beach is a legal nudist beach, and not the look there variety. Overall, this beach is thoroughly superb and definitely worth a visit.
I must say, this beach in Portugal has truly left a lasting impression on me. The picturesque views, pristine beach, and crystal-clear waters are nothing short of breathtaking. Whether you opt for the cozy cove nestled between the rocks (first parking lot from the south) or the expansive stretch of sand (last parking lot), you're bound to have an unforgettable experience. The beach is a popular spot for surfers, and you can even rent a board if you're feeling adventurous. Just keep in mind that there are no bars or restaurants on-site, so you'll need to bring your own refreshments and snacks.
