Transit beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 7th place out of 10 beaches in the Leon region 46.3 km away from its center, the city of Leon. It is one of the beaches of El Transito settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The beach is an ideal spot for surfing enthusiasts, with its picturesque and unspoiled beauty. The sand is sparkling clean, and there are plenty of restaurants located conveniently nearby. However, it's essential to wear suitable footwear as the dark material in the sand can become extremely hot and cause severe burns to your feet in a matter of seconds. I learned this lesson the hard way, but it's a small price to pay for the pleasure of enjoying this magnificent beach.

The tranquil beach is perfect for a laid-back vacation, with a handful of cafes and surf spots nearby. The friendly locals add to the charm of the place. However, the journey to reach the beach is a bit challenging as the dirt road stretches for 8 miles. We managed to navigate it in a small car, but it could be risky during the rainy season.
