Saidia beach is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 4th place out of 33 beaches in the Oriental region 55.9 km away from its center, the city of Oujda. It is one of the beaches of Mediterrania Saidia settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

The desolate beach on a seemingly pleasant October day with a temperature of 26 degrees was a disappointing experience. The lack of life and activity made it feel like a forgotten wasteland. Despite the company of family, the lack of any memorable moments only added to the disappointment.

The beach is not ideal for a family getaway as it lacks the tranquility necessary for a relaxing time by the sea. The presence of people occupying the public space with their parasols and chairs hinders the possibility of enjoying a peaceful and undisturbed time. Furthermore, the view of the sea is not easily accessible, making it difficult to fully appreciate the beauty of the ocean.

The beach is a delightful destination, however, it is important to exercise caution as there are instances of individuals attempting to scam visitors in restaurants, coffee shops, and various other locations. The prices may be significantly inflated when it is apparent that you are not a local. Despite this, the area is otherwise charming and the locals are welcoming.

This particular beach is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after destinations for tourists. You need not fret over the possibility of not locating a parking or beach spot as there are plenty to go around. A dip in the cool waters is a must-do activity during your visit. The Kournishe is an absolute delight to stroll along during the night. We had an absolute blast just walking and chatting away. Moreover, taking a leisurely walk on the beach is another great option.
