Bocasa beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 2th place out of 29 beaches in the Herceg Novi region 11.3 km away from its center, the city of Herceg Novi. It is one of the beaches of Josice settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Bocasa beach is fully occupied by beach clubs with restricted entrance. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

I had a fantastic lunch at this place and I highly recommend it. The views overlooking the bay were absolutely lovely, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The service was top-notch as well. Overall, it was really good.

The restaurant at the beach is absolutely top-notch and it quickly became our favorite in the area. We dined there multiple times during our four-day visit and were fortunate enough to witness a menu change, allowing us to sample even more dishes. The food is stunning and incredibly delicious. Personally, the standout dish for me was the black tagliatelle with dry aged tuna - it was an explosion of flavors. The local wines are also exceptional. However, the highlight of it all is the wonderful and attentive staff. We are already eagerly anticipating our next vacation at this beach.

After checking out of the hotel, we decided to grab a bite to eat. We had a refreshing freshly squeezed juice, a delightful bouillabaisse, and indulged in some cakes and tea. The homemade bread was absolutely heavenly. The waiters were incredibly attentive and friendly. The prices were a bit on the higher side for Montenegro, but I wouldn't necessarily label it as a tourist trap. I can envision that it must be stunning during the summer, although it's likely to be quite crowded as well.
