It is a small several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

A beautiful island but do not expect to see any birds other than seagulls and crows. The rare birds leave early morning and return late in the day. If I had to do it again I'd rent a boat to cruise early morning or dusk. Lots of tourists on the beach some of which chose to play a boom box at full volume. Yes, in a nature reserve. If you're looking for nature don't look here unless it's early or late in the day.

About a twenty minute boat ride out to a semi private area. Take snacks and drinks. Enjoy it is a fun day excursion. Imagine it can get a little crowded, but for us it wasn't. Also rent the tent for shade.

Beautiful island!! The colors of the water are light blue and the sand is white. The price of the boat is $2,500 (1 to 6 people) and $3,000 (7 to 10) so it is a good idea to fill it up to pay less each. (Prices January 2024). I was alone and what I did was sign up for a list they have at the boat exit on the boardwalk and they contacted me to let me know when the group was ready. I really recommend it, it is very beautiful and quiet! Respect the area, alcoholic beverages are not allowed and you can bring food as long as you clean. You can only spend 2 hours on the island, the time flies by so make the most of it :)
