The Puerto Angel coastline boasts a stunning beach that we had the pleasure of visiting during a boat tour, which can be purchased at Panteon Beach. This serene and secluded beach offers the perfect opportunity for snorkeling and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
The beach is charming, though it lacks any extraordinary features. The primary concern arises while driving to the location, as the dirt road leading to it is inconveniently narrow, steep, and impractical, unless you own an SUV. The risk of getting stuck downhill escalates during the rainy season.
The Hidden beach is a quaint and serene location with limited visitors. It has earned a spot among the top 10 beaches in Mexico for its breathtaking beauty. The crystal-clear turquoise water is a sight to behold and will leave you in awe.
As part of our boat tour, accessing this beach is not as straightforward as Zipolite. It's a pleasant spot to relax, but be aware that shade is scarce and the resort/restaurant owns the umbrellas, meaning you must purchase food and/or drinks. If you're seeking a tranquil beach with fewer crowds, consider checking out the small hotels in the vicinity.
The beach is a stunning display of nature's beauty, but it is situated far from the usual tourist routes. If you come prepared with refreshments, an umbrella, and other essentials, you can have a delightful time here. However, there is a dearth of natural shade and the sheltered area is only accessible to resort guests. The swimming conditions are suitable and secure, although there is a significant and unexpected drop-off a few feet from the shore. Snorkeling is decent, but it pales in comparison to the nearby Estachuite.
