Playa Pichilinguillo is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 6th place out of 48 beaches in the Michoacán region 258.7 km away from its center, the city of Morelia. It is one of the beaches of Pichilinguillo settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Playa Pichilinguillo shoreline is completely occupied by the hotels. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, sun umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

There are some fantastic restaurants located directly on the beach, and the water is pleasantly warm for swimming. Additionally, if you're interested in exploring some of the nearby coastal caves, you can easily hire a boat guide to take you there.

The beach I recently visited was akin to a serene oasis, resembling a tranquil pool. The added bonus was the availability of fresh seafood and succulent lobster, making it a gastronomic delight. The lack of tourists added to the peaceful ambiance of the beach. However, the only downside was the absence of any hotels in the vicinity.
