Playa Carisitos is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 28th place out of 48 beaches in the Michoacán region 278.6 km away from its center, the city of Morelia. It is one of the beaches of Maruata settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

The beach has stunning golden fine sand, making it even more picturesque. However, be cautious as the sea can be choppy. The prices are quite reasonable and the service is top-notch. The tenants have a great attitude and I would definitely recommend this beach.
