Puerta Paraiso is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 44th place out of 48 beaches in the Michoacán region 284.5 km away from its center, the city of Morelia. It is one of the beaches of Ixtapilla settlement, just 1.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a spacious several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and brown fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.
