Colomitos beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 8th place out of 86 beaches in the Jalisco region The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. The beach is undoubtedly beautiful, however, it tends to become overcrowded in no time. The constant arrival and departure of boats also pose a risk to swimmers. It's not a pleasant experience to swim while constantly worrying about your safety.

Although the beach is quite lovely, it is unfortunately quite small and often teeming with boats from Boca de Tomatlán. It's important to note that locals have advised against paying more than 120 pesos per person for a water taxi ride from Boca. We were surprised to find some vendors charging as much as 500 pesos for a mere five-minute ride, and it's important not to let them get away with it.
