This secluded shoreline boasts crystal-clear waters and glistening yellow sand. The ocean is speckled with a variety of vibrant fish, showcasing a rainbow of hues. Accessing the beach requires a bit of exploration, as there is no direct route. However, a hidden passage can be found just beyond Condominios Girasol Sur, marked on the map as entrada a playas gemelos. Descend the stairs to the shore and veer left, navigating over boulders and past the Grand Park Royal resort. Continue on, passing the hotel and more boulders, until you reach some private properties. Although the journey may be a bit challenging, it is worth it for the unparalleled beauty of this hidden gem. Even my 10-year-old son was able to make the trek with only a few minor scrapes. For those in need of transportation back, the Grand Park Royal resort offers free internet access for booking an Uber.
The underwater scenery for snorkeling is quite restricted due to the low visibility. As I ventured out to explore, I had to navigate through rocky terrain which proved to be quite challenging. Even the path leading back to shore had its own set of obstacles. I would recommend taking a boat if you are not confident in your swimming abilities or balance, as it can be a risky endeavor.
This hidden gem of a beach has stunning and unique views that are sure to take your breath away. However, it's important to be cautious of the sea urchins that can be found among the rocks. While it may not be the ideal spot for boogie boarding, those who are up for an adventure can enjoy some great snorkeling in the surrounding waters.
Ah, the elusive hidden beach. A true gem among the vast expanse of sandy shores. This particular stretch of coastline is a sight to behold, with its pristine waters and soft white sand. It's almost as if the beach itself is playing a game of hide-and-seek, daring you to find it. But once you do, oh boy, is it worth the effort. The tranquility and seclusion of this beach make it the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. So if you're up for a challenge and want to experience the beauty of a hidden beach, this one is definitely worth seeking out.
This beach was quite the adventure to get to, requiring a precarious 20-minute hike over rocky terrain from Playa Gamelas. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a semi-cave, a meager waterfall (perhaps it's more impressive after a heavy rain?), and a towering wall to the south that provided excellent opportunities for snorkeling and fishing. However, we couldn't help but notice the presence of a security guard at the neighboring beach to the south, which seemed a bit excessive for such a remote location. On the north side of the beach, we discovered a staircase etched into the rocks that led to a bungee jumping spot between the two beaches. Overall, while the beach itself was enjoyable, the journey to get there and the odd security measures left us feeling slightly underwhelmed.
