Playa del Bichi is located on the Gulf of California (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 23th place out of 43 beaches in the Baja California region The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a long bay with crystal blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, partygoers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

This beach is a fantastic spot for swimming, although it was quite crowded during our visit - which is typical for Mexico. There were plenty of dogs running around without leashes, which might not be ideal for some visitors. Additionally, the noise level was quite high due to partygoers who stayed up until 4am. Unfortunately, the bacon served at breakfast the next morning was spoiled and left a bad taste in our mouths. Despite these minor issues, we still had a great time overall, and it was clear that the owner takes pride in maintaining the area.
