My experience at the beach was absolutely fantastic. The beach was impeccably clean and had very little sargasso, unlike other popular beaches like Cancun or Playa del Carmen. Additionally, it was much more affordable than those other destinations. The water was at the perfect temperature for swimming, and the locals were incredibly hospitable. However, it's worth noting that not everyone in the area speaks English, so it's helpful to know some Spanish to fully enjoy the experience. I've visited Puerto Morelos Public Beach twice in the past year, and I'm already planning on returning as soon as possible. In fact, I loved it so much that I came back for an entire month. I've fallen head over heels for Puerto Morelos and have even started taking Spanish classes to make the most of my time here. Currently, the sargasso is nowhere to be found, and the town is flourishing with cleaner beaches than ever before. I highly recommend this destination to anyone looking for a beautiful, affordable, and welcoming beach vacation.
As I gaze upon the beach tractor, equipped with a rake, I can't help but wonder why it isn't utilized more often on this stunning shoreline. Daily raking would undoubtedly enhance the allure of this already beautiful beach situated on either side of The Lighthouse. Despite this minor setback, the town itself is charming and welcoming, making it a delightful destination to explore.
A beautiful beach that is perfect for spending a relaxing day is waiting for you. Don't forget to bring your snorkeling gear as there is a fascinating reef just waiting to be explored. The only drawback is the presence of algae, but it is simply a natural occurrence.
During my two-week vacation in Cancun, I found this beach to be my absolute favorite. The water was consistently warm and inviting, and the friendly locals respected my personal space unless I ventured near the shops, where they could become a bit too pushy. Despite this minor annoyance, I found the town to be charming and the beach to be absolutely stunning. I am eagerly looking forward to returning again in the future.
The Puerto Morelos coast boasts a stunningly beautiful beach that stretches for miles, with velvety white sand that feels like silk underfoot. During my visit in November, I was delighted to find that the beach was blissfully uncrowded, with only a handful of people scattered about, taking advantage of the shady spots.
