This beach is definitely one of the top picks in the area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Plus, the golden sand adds to its charm. However, the food options could use some improvement.
The beach is great with its tranquil blue waters, but the food and drink options available in the beach huts are overpriced and the service is lacking. It seems like they prioritize making money from tourists over providing a pleasant experience.
This location is a perfect spot for a family getaway. Its beauty is unparalleled, and the atmosphere is ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Unfortunately, while at the beach, a man in a blue and white checkered shirt with his two children, around 12 and 6 years old, took advantage of a moment when I was distracted and stole my shoes and socks from the palapa where I left them. The man claimed that the palapa was his and demanded $200 for its use, but when I refused, he became verbally aggressive and insisted that my family and I leave. As we gathered our belongings, his children pretended to clean the area and secretly took my shoes to a makeshift shelter made of rags and plastic. When I noticed my shoes were missing, I went to the shelter and the man appeared with a machete, threatening me and demanding that I leave. I called 911 for help, but the police never arrived. To avoid any further danger, I left the area with my family. Later, I encountered a municipal patrol and reported the incident, but was told that it was my fault for being careless and that I could file a complaint with the MP if I wanted to pursue the matter.
We spent two days at this location. On the first day, the sea was very calm and perfect for swimming, although it wasn't very clear due to the weather. However, on the second day, there was a lot of wind and the sea was rough. Despite not being deep, the waves were very strong and brought in a lot of shells, making it impossible to swim. The sand is unrefined and grayish, with plenty of shells around. The palapa managers charge $100 per table, or it is included if you consume on-site. The prices are not expensive, with a bucket of 6 beers costing $150, but the food is quite average and lacks flavor. Additionally, the staff's attention is not very helpful. However, the beach is the highlight of the location.
