Playa Costa Azul is located on the Gulf of Mexico (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 6th place out of 6 beaches in the Tamaulipas region The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

This desolate and squalid beach is a wasteland of litter and debris. It appears as though it has been neglected and left to rot, with no regard for the environment or the safety of those who may visit. The unsightly mess is a blight on the natural beauty of the area and a clear indication of the lack of care and attention paid to its upkeep. It's a shame that such a potentially stunning location has been allowed to fall into such disrepair.

My recent escape to Costa Azul was a breathtaking experience. I highly recommend staying in one of the cozy cabins on the beach to catch the stunning sunrise. The locals were incredibly hospitable and accommodating, adding to the overall charm of the place. I'm already anticipating my next visit to this heavenly destination.
