My family and I had the pleasure of spending a serene and sun-kissed evening at this stunning beach. The water was crystal clear, the breeze was gentle, and the panoramic view of the ocean was simply breathtaking.
The beach was serene, especially on a Monday in mid-October. The water was crystal clear, and it was possible to jump from a height of 4 meters, making it an ideal spot.
This beach surpasses St Peters Pool by far! Skip the hassle of going to St P's and come straight to this spot. Although the direct route from St Peters Pool was closed, we found an alternative way and stumbled upon this gem. The beach offers ample room to unwind, bask in the sun and enjoy the tranquility with fewer crowds. The natural rock formations and crystal-clear water make it an ideal spot for exploring rock pools. The only downside is the stairs leading down to the beach, but the view from the top is worth the descent. I highly recommend this beach if you're in the area.
What an incredible spot! Visited during the early evening on July 25th and the beach was pleasantly uncrowded. The water was a delightful temperature and we were thrilled to find no jellyfish in sight. We opted to park our car near the shore due to concerns about the road's condition, but upon walking we discovered it was much better than anticipated. The road leading to the bay was wider and smoother than the images on Google Maps led us to believe. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this beach to others.
A lot of visitors tend to only go as far as St. Peter's Pool and miss out on exploring the rest of the peninsula, which is a shame. Just about a kilometer down the road is Il-Kalanka, an area that's quite similar to St. Peter's Pool but with a lot fewer people. Plus, there are some interesting sights nearby, like the Il-Kalanka Lighthouse and the historic Il-Kalanka tal Gidien, which is a collection of salt pans on the peninsula.
