This lovely location boasts crystal clear blue-green waters that are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and exploring. You can lounge on the flat rocks or take a refreshing dip in the water. For the more adventurous, there are various heights to jump from into the glistening water. Despite its popularity, the beach may become quite crowded during the summer months. However, during the winter season, it's a peaceful retreat. Even on the first day of the year, with temperatures at a comfortable 18 degrees, this beach is a great place to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.
A stunning semi-circular cliff made of limestone, offers the perfect opportunity for thrill-seekers to take a daring plunge into the crystal clear blue waters below. Although parking may not be optimal, we were able to secure a spot.
Although the walk may prove challenging for those over 60 in the group, it is otherwise a fairly easy trek for most. If you have access to a car, getting to this beach is a breeze. During my visit in mid-December, there were around 20-25 people present, making for a peaceful and uncrowded atmosphere. The beach offers a lovely location for cliff jumping, and for those who prefer to swim without jumping, the water is easily accessible and safe.
On a breezy day, swimming was not a viable option due to safety concerns. Nevertheless, the picturesque scenery was breathtaking and we were able to leisurely stroll all the way to the waterfront. Our trek from Marsaloxx lasted roughly 15 minutes, but it was worth every step. This spot is undeniably awesome!
This beach is a wonderful spot to take a quick dip in the ocean and spend an hour lounging on the sand. If you arrive before noon, you'll have plenty of space to yourself without the crowds. However, getting here without a car can be a bit of a challenge. Unfortunately, there is a bit too much litter scattered around the area.
