Ukulhas Beach is located on the Laccadive Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 5th place out of 19 beaches in the Alif Alif region 15 km away from its center, the city of Rasdhoo. It is one of the beaches of Rasdhoo settlement, just 15 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

This beach on the far end of the island is truly stunning with its vast expanse of white sand. The water is breathtaking, but it can be a bit challenging to enter due to the presence of dead corals and broken ceramics. Unfortunately, the area at the end of the beach is not ideal for snorkeling or swimming. However, if you're looking for great snorkeling, you can head down the side of the island towards the power station. Although the beach there may not be very pleasant due to the presence of rubbish, the snorkeling experience is worth it. The water is calm, and you can easily swim out over the reef to see turtles, sharks, and a variety of beautiful fish. It's just a shame that there is so much rubbish on the beach and in the first few feet of the sea.

This beach is an excellent place to unwind, soak up some sun, go snorkeling, or take a swim. You can find trees in the area where you can take a break from the sun or lounge on the stunning sand. If you're in need of a refreshing coconut, the Coco hut is just a quick stroll away!

The beach and island are lovely, but the proximity of the corals and stones makes swimming less enjoyable. However, the other side of the island, specifically the Ostrov hotel side, is significantly better and more peaceful.
