Dhangethi Beach is located on the Laccadive Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 9th place out of 23 beaches in the Alif Dhaal region 17.1 km away from its center, the city of Mahibadhoo. It is one of the beaches of Mahibadhoo settlement, just 17.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

This stunning beach is an ideal destination for tourists seeking a relaxing getaway. As a woman, you can bask in the sun and take a refreshing dip in the ocean while wearing your favorite bikini. To enhance your experience, I suggest that the locals expand the area and add a cozy spot where you can quench your thirst with some ice-cold beverages. A vending machine stocked with cold drinks would be a fantastic addition to this already perfect spot.

May 2018: A serene and delightful Bikini beach, where one can unwind under the shade of a palm tree or experience the island from a unique perspective by renting a paddle board. February 2020: Regrettably, the Bikini beach has undergone some changes in the past two years, and I must admit that I preferred it much more in its previous state. The presence of numerous broken sunbeds, which could have been removed, detracts from the overall ambiance of the beach, which no longer appears as immaculate as it once did.
