Once a bustling harbor, Rasgefannu is a stunning natural beach that is often misconstrued as an artificial one. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, Fuvahmulah boasts no artificial beaches, a rarity in the Maldives where natural beauty is celebrated. The only two artificial beaches can be found in the capital city of Malé, with only one other island recently creating such a beach. Tourists flock to the Maldives for its natural wonders, and Rasgefannu is no exception. Though it may not be the most popular beach spot, it holds historical significance as the main harbor for hundreds of years.
