This beachfront spot is a charming gem with a stunning view of Hoopers Bay in Exuma, Bahamas. Peter and Betty, the owners of this rental, are a delightful couple who went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed and any inquiries we had. They even provided a rental car for our convenience in exploring the island and offered kayaks for our enjoyment. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone planning a visit to Exuma.

I returned from this beach just two weeks ago and I have to say, it was absolutely amazing. The fact that the crystal clear water was just a few steps away from the house made it incredibly beautiful. We didn't even need to go on an excursion to swim with the sea turtles because they were right there in the water. The beach house was lovely and reasonably priced. We stayed in a well-maintained two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment downstairs. The locals were incredibly friendly and I can't even begin to express how delicious the food was. It was so good. We will definitely be returning to sandy palms next year. We loved every single second of our time there.

We spent five days here in July 2014, and it was an amazing experience. We stayed in one of the studio units, which had everything we needed for the week (after we went grocery shopping, of course). The beach was just a short 15-second walk away, and it was absolutely stunning. It was practically empty when we were there, and the sand was incredibly soft. The water was also very calm during our stay, allowing me to float on my back and relax. We even had access to a kayak, which we used a few times. Peter, the host, was incredibly friendly and took care of any requests we had. He also offered car rentals at a reasonable price, which was much more convenient than going elsewhere. If we ever return to Great Exuma, this is definitely where we'll be staying.
