Chronicle Black Sand Beach is located on the Sea of Japan (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 10th place out of 24 beaches in the South Jeolla region 139.6 km away from its center, the city of Jindo-eup. It is one of the beaches of Manheung-dong settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Chronicle Black Sand Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

Although the parking lot may be petite, the beach itself is not overcrowded, allowing for a serene atmosphere. The sand is also quite substantial, providing a pleasant experience. Overall, it was a rather enjoyable beach day.

Due to the overcast weather, the black sand beach didn't quite reveal its full beauty to me. Despite this, I could still appreciate its potential to be stunning on a sunny day. It was a relief to find the beach relatively empty, allowing for a peaceful and secluded experience. However, there was a noticeable amount of campers nearby.
