This place is incredible. It`s a piece of heaven on Earth. Words are not enough to describe.
In some places the seagrass gives way to a bottom of fine sand. Very clear water. Access from a dirt road between Cala Reale and Cala d'Oliva, at the height of the tower. There are sun shelters with three tables.
Not the most beautiful beach in Asinara but close to Cala Reale. Quite a bit of posidonia and the ruins of the prison give it a bit of a gloomy side. Not many people.
It is a very special cove, its water has different shades of blue and turquoise green, sand, without rocks, with a Spanish tower on the left and a prison on the right; (this last one is perhaps what makes it a little ugly... But history is history and must be reflected) and it is ideal for the bathroom. We were alone... It was our private beach, a luxury!!
Very wild place. To reach this cove, the cheapest way is to take the ferry from Porto Torres (return from Asinara at 15 euros for adults and 7.5 euros for children) and then take a bus which, at various times, connects in a few minutes the most visited points of the island (arrival and departure port of the ferry, Cala Trabuccato, prisons and some other coves). The bus costs, regardless of the number of times you use it in a day, 10 euros. My 4 year old son didn't pay.
