Paina Beach is located on the Garda lake and it is in the 16th place out of 34 beaches in the Verona region 39.3 km away from its center, the city of Verona. It is one of the beaches of Malcesine settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

There are numerous petite beach spots along the lake that offer a splendid sight of the Malcesine castle, Lake Garda, and the majestic mountains. It is advisable to carry a sturdy towel or a comfortable lounger to enjoy the pebble beach. The water temperature can be quite chilly, so brace yourself accordingly.

This charming little beach boasts a stunning vista of the Malcesine castle and surpassed all expectations. The water is shallow and perfect for lounging or taking a refreshing dip. For those seeking a bit of adventure, a free floating island for jumping is available. The swimming area is clearly marked for safety. The only downside is the lack of shade, but nearby amenities such as a parking lot, kiosk, and basketball court make up for it. If you're looking to rent a sun lounger, the adjacent restaurant has you covered. In addition, the restaurant provides changing rooms and restrooms for your convenience.

This beach is conveniently located near the city and boasts crystal-clear water. However, the water temperature is chilly, as is typical for a lake. During my visit, a floating barge was available for swimming and jumping. It's advisable to bring a thick towel as the beach is covered in small pebbles. Be cautious when entering the water as it quickly becomes deep.

The serene atmosphere is enhanced by the limited number of visitors, allowing for a truly enjoyable experience. The town of Malcesine is conveniently located just a short 10-minute walk away. However, it's important to note that parking can be quite pricey, so arriving early in the morning is advisable to avoid any traffic congestion in the vicinity.

We spent a delightful day at this hidden gem, far from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds. The peaceful atmosphere was truly serene. During our visit in August 2021, we found that the beach bed rental was priced at 8€, and the umbrella rental was 4€ for the entire day. While the initial cost may seem steep, it's actually quite reasonable. Additionally, there's a fantastic pizzeria conveniently located right next door.
