Cala Vinagra is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 129th place out of 134 beaches in the Sud Sardegna region 24.7 km away from its center, the city of Carbonia. It is one of the beaches of U Paize Carloforte settlement, just 5.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Cala Vinagra coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, snorkeling, sup-surfing, sea kayaking.

The beach is a hidden gem that is not frequently visited due to its remote location. It requires a moderate trek of approximately an hour with an elevation gain of around 150 meters. The cove is petite and is not maintained, which results in various plastic debris being washed ashore. An abandoned house stands on the beach, and one can't help but question how it was constructed in such a naturally significant location.

This beach is truly a magnificent sight, with its crystal-clear waters resembling a shimmering glass that showcases the stunning seabed beneath. The journey to this wondrous place is a short one, starting from the parking lot and leading to the lighthouse. The beach is an absolute gem that I stumbled upon during a hike through the mountains. As we approached, we were greeted by the breathtaking sight of a rugged bay with crystal clear turquoise waters. It was an invitation too tempting to resist, and we eagerly dove in and swam down to the stunning beach of Cala Vinagra.

Prepare to embark on an adventure to a beach that claims to be a real paradise. However, don't let the daunting journey discourage you. The path to this magical destination is marked by stone sculptures that will guide you to a place that is supposedly heaven on earth. Don't be fooled by the rough terrain that lies ahead. Even with the help of a GPS, finding this hidden gem is a challenge. Once you arrive at the crossroads, you must park your car near a brown gate or on the dirt road nearby. From there, you will need to continue on foot for around 20 minutes, following the small stone sculptures until you reach the cliff and the beach. While the journey may be treacherous, the reward is said to be worth it. The beach promises to be a place that will evoke strong emotions in you. But, whether or not it lives up to its claims of being a true paradise, is up to you to decide.
