Cantaro beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 400th place out of 402 beaches in the Sassari region 28.6 km away from its center, the city of Sassari. It is one of the beaches of Alghero settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.
