Portopaglietto beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 65th place out of 134 beaches in the Sud Sardegna region 14.2 km away from its center, the city of Carbonia. It is one of the beaches of Portescusi Portoscuso settlement, just 0.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

This charming little beach is a true gem! While you won't find any beach chairs or umbrellas available for rent, the lack of crowds and commercialization only adds to its natural beauty. The crystal-clear waters make for excellent swimming and snorkeling, and the peaceful atmosphere is perfect for unwinding. I highly recommend grabbing a bite to eat at the restaurant terrace, which boasts stunning views of the shoreline. Parking is conveniently located right next to the restaurant, with payment available at the nearby machine.

The beach offers a vast expanse of soft, golden sand that is sure to delight any beach-goer. During our visit, we found the atmosphere to be peaceful and tranquil, with only a few elderly locals present. Regrettably, we were unable to find any open cafes or restaurants to grab a refreshing beverage or snack during the day.
