The pebble beach is truly lovely.
The beach, commonly referred to as the 100+ steps beach, is a pebble beach with black sand. During my visit, it wasn't very crowded, but the overcast weather and strong waves made snorkeling along the cliffs to the west feel like being in a washing machine. However, I believe that on a sunny day with calmer waves, it would have been a great experience. If you're looking for a spacious beach, this is the place to go. Additionally, there's a beach bar that plays music from 5 pm daily if you want to stay into the evening.
The beach at Elba has gray pebbles, and it is a unique experience that I highly recommend.
The beach is a secluded and exclusive spot with gray pebbles, perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the crowds.
I almost don't want to rate this beach highly because I want to keep it as my own little oasis, but that wouldn't be fair. This beach has everything I need to feel content and at ease: a quaint bar with a welcoming bartender, no overwhelming crowds, stunning water, and just the right size stones for skipping. Plus, there are even areas with dark sand for children to play in. The only downside is that the stairs can be a bit of a challenging climb and parking can be limited.
