The beach has beautiful sand, but unfortunately, the staff is very impolite and there are no clear signs indicating whether visitors are welcome. It's best to avoid this beach and find somewhere else to enjoy your day. Additionally, there are many chairs available, but they appear to be unusable and are just taking up space.
The Lido is a gorgeous beach. The clearest water, soft sand - what more could you want on vacation! Most of the beaches belong to private hotels, but there is a city beach too, it is located at the end of the street Gran Viale, and that is where my photos were taken. In general, this island as if specially designed for indulging in relaxation. If you want to eat out, there are all kinds of cafes, snack bars, pizzerias and restaurants, big and small, for every taste and wallet.
A few words about Lido beach Venice The Lido is part of Venice and is an island that separates the Venice Lagoon from the Adriatic Sea. It can be reached from the city by boat in only twenty minutes. Mainly famous for its beaches, the Lido is also known for the fact that the famous annual Venice Film Festival takes place here in August-September. As I'm not a huge fan of the Adriatic Sea I would not recommend to drop everything and rush there at once, with the beginning of the season. You should visit Venice if you have been there and you want to see something new and still have something to do with Venice. And also, undoubtedly, to those who love beach holidays on the Adriatic. Thank you all for your attention!
The Venice Italy beach at the Lido is paid, but in April no one took money for entry, only the toilet cost 1 euro. Most people were sunbathing, although all the kids were playing in the water. I regretted that I had not brought my swimsuit. I would have swum! On the Lido beach Venice, in the sand, there were a lot of shells. Not a good feeling when walking barefooted. However, to stand in the clean, cool sea water after a long walk in the sun was very pleasant!
The seashore is decent, but it's necessary to pay a small fee of 1 euro to use the public restroom. The cleanliness of the beach could be improved, as the sand appears to be somewhat soiled. Despite this, the waters are ideal for swimming.
