About

San Michele Beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 6th place out of 26 beaches in the Ancona region 13 km away from its center, the city of Ancona. It is one of the beaches of Sirolo settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing, sea kayaking.

Getting to the beach is quite simple: just take a short walk along the trail.

The beach with stunning scenery. However, it's worth noting that the beach is not composed of sand, but rather a mix of gravel and rocks. Despite this, the water remains crystal clear and pristine, as the lack of sand prevents any murkiness. It's important to be cautious when entering the water, however, as the shoreline has an abrupt 3-foot drop-off. It's also a bit of a hassle to reach the beach, as it requires parking at a distance, walking half a mile, and taking a shuttle bus. Overall, this beach is a lovely destination to visit, but it may not be ideal for those with sensitive feet or weak swimming abilities.

This beach is a pristine and well-kept destination, boasting a mix of coarse sand and small stones. While there are only a handful of free areas to lounge, visitors can rent an umbrella and beach loungers for a fee, though these can be a bit pricey, starting at a minimum of 20€ per day. The beach also offers free access to showers and toilets, which is a nice convenience for visitors. To reach the beach, visitors can take a bus from the town of Sirolo or one of the nearby parking lots, with tickets costing only 1€ per person per trip. The water is crystal clear and pleasantly warm, making it an ideal spot for swimming and soaking up the sun.
