The bay is a peaceful spot with black sand and pebbles, crystal-clear water, and decent waves. It's mostly accessible by boat, but we chose to hike down trail 444 with our two daughters (ages 11 and 15). The descent and ascent were tiring but well worth it. The last 100 meters are steep, exposed, and secured with ropes. Sturdy hiking boots, sure-footedness, and a head for heights are essential, and some alpine experience would be helpful. Be sure to pay attention to the trail markers and follow the blue and yellow markings. There's little shade on the beach, and the amount of litter depends on the boats and their passengers.
The beach is stunning, with water so clear you can see straight through it. There aren't many people around, but be aware that the waves and depth of the water make swimming the only safe option. The path to the beach is a bit steep and may be challenging to navigate in hiking shoes. Overall, it's a gorgeous spot and I would definitely visit again soon!
This beach offers a rugged and untamed experience that is perfect for those looking for a more adventurous outing. It may not be the most luxurious beach for those who prefer a more lavish experience, but it is certainly one of the best for those seeking a more authentic and raw beach experience. If you are feeling daring and do not have access to a boat or kayak, this beach is definitely worth checking out.
