Accessing the beach is a breeze and the waters are crystal clear, however, it's important to be cautious of jellyfish presence.
Enjoyed a delightful time with my children at the beach. The convenience of having nearby parking made our experience even better.
Genova boasts one of the largest beaches, which is highly suitable for families with young ones. The beach offers a range of amenities including showers, bars, and restaurants, making it a convenient option for a day out. Moreover, the famous Pasticceria Priani and a delicious gelateria are located nearby, offering a chance to try authentic Italian ice cream. Additionally, there is a small park for children to play in. This beach is highly recommended, especially for families seeking a day of fun and relaxation.
The beach is a vast expanse of sand and sea, with ongoing construction activities in the vicinity. Unfortunately, there are no facilities like showers or toilets on the beach, although the nearby Pam supermarket has one. However, the beach makes for a lovely photo opportunity, especially during the serene evening hours when it is relatively unoccupied and surrounded by scenic hills. It is not advisable to swim here as the water quality is not ideal.
The shore was inundated with a throng of people, and litter was being washed up by the waves. Additionally, the water appeared to be unclean. As we strolled along the coastline towards the west, we came across two massive rock formations flanking a narrow stream, seemingly erected to safeguard the beach from being washed away during torrential downpours. Beyond these obstacles, there was a relatively secluded spot (although situated in the midst of the bustling beach) where only a handful of families were present. While it was an improvement, it still did not warrant a rating of more than three stars.
