Arenzano beach is located on the Ligurian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 56th place out of 76 beaches in the Genoa region 19.7 km away from its center, the city of Genoa. It is one of the beaches of Arenzano settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and black sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The beach offers well-maintained restroom facilities and each umbrella comes with its own cabin, though one must be cautious not to stumble on the slats and internal doormat. The bar and restaurant are well-organized, with a shaded area for enjoying a packaged ice cream. Hot showers are available for a reasonable price of €1 per 20-minute token, which can be obtained at the bar. While the distance between beds and umbrellas is minimal, the central beach area is relatively small, which is typical of Liguria. The cost for an umbrella and two sunbeds is €40 per day. The only drawback was the large cabin designated for individuals with disabilities, which was often closed for renovation, causing inconvenience for those trying to access cabin 49.
