Snelling Beach is located on the Great Australian Bight and it is in the 6th place out of 12 beaches in the Kangaroo Island region The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious bay with crystal blue water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Snelling Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, changing rooms, showers, toilets. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Amazing beach. Beautiful sand and can drive down to get close to the action. Great spot to spot some wild life, pelicans, kangaroos and koalas. Also a great fishing spot. Can get salmon, mullet, Tommy’s straight off the beach.
