Love taking my boy out for a play & swim 🤍 he enjoys it, although i am cautious of him around other people given his size & temperament, hence only having him socialise with certain dogs/owners. Other than that, great way to spend time w your furry one 🥰

Come at low tide and with low wind. So check first. When low tide there's plenty of space for dogs to be social but not cramped, and if not friendly plenty of space for the grumpier dogs. Great way for them to get used to the water! Dog showering taps, bags, drinking water and bins are all available at the entrance, which is tops.

Great dog beach that is secure and has several taps/fountains, etc, for rinsing your dog after and for water. Depending on the tide, there's lots of space for the dogs to run around and even when tide is in, water is shallow. Haven't encountered any irresponsible dog owners yet, but like all dog parks/beaches you just have to keep an eye out. Can be very busy on weekends and when weather is hot, so may be overwhelming for shy dogs. Also has an off-lead enclosed dog area away from the beach if you don't want your dog getting dirty!

It's the first time we took all 3 of our dogs to the beach. They all loved it even our 'precious' Maltese Shitzu! Great place to visit at low tide and water was still nice. Just keep an eye out for the brown packages that some people forget to collect up after their dogs!

Amazing place. Great access and parking. The sandbar is good for walking out into the water with pup and letting have a big swim.
