The vast majority of Melbourne beaches have the necessary amenities, such as sun loungers, umbrellas, beach cafes, showers and toilets.
The beach offers breathtaking views that blend urban and coastal elements perfectly. It's a great spot to enjoy a beach experience without having to travel all the way to Frankston. It's the ideal place to watch a sunset and take a leisurely stroll along the shore, just like you claim to love on your Tinder profile.
This city beach is truly wonderful, especially on a sunny autumn day. The car park and all the others nearby would be packed in the summer, with sunbathers outnumbering seagulls ten to one. We grabbed lunch from a take away on Hampton Road and enjoyed it on the wall along the walkway on Beach Road. There is a wide paved walk by the beach, as well as a gravel path higher up along Beach Road. The path with steps may not be ideal for those with limited mobility. There is a basic restroom at the surf lifesaving club if needed. This beach is perfect for families, with plenty of sand when the tide is out and gentle waves unless it's windy. Kids and dogs (check the signs) have space to run around, with good visibility for parents. There are also breaker walls made of rocks that offer some adventure for the more adventurous. I highly recommend visiting this beach, especially at this lovely time of year.
This beach is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. It was amazing to just sit and take in the view. My family and I had a great time and were impressed by the size of the beach. Definitely worth a visit.
This beach has become our family's go-to spot. We make the 30-minute drive at 8:30pm a few times a week in the summer just to catch the sunset. It's not as crowded as Chelsea beach, and it's conveniently close by. The new bathrooms are a great addition, especially for our family with two kids. We highly recommend it.
