It's a fantastic campground with free admission, equipped with toilet facilities, and conveniently located right next to the beach. The parking is also hassle-free.
The campsite is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking beach. It's incredibly peaceful, but if you want a spot, you'll have to arrive early. The fee is $13.25 per night, and you can easily pay it by contacting the council. The maximum stay is 14 days, and the campsite provides toilets, rubbish bins, and a dump point. However, there is no access to water or power.
We absolutely loved it! Our dog had a blast too! We managed to catch some fish and went on long walks. The beach had a fantastic variety of bird species!
The beach offers convenient shaded areas right by the shore, along with accessible toilets and garbage disposal facilities. The rates are affordable, although there is no water available. It would be wonderful if the Council could install a public water tap at Carmila.
I decided to switch things up and visit this beach instead of my usual spot at Clairview. It turned out to be a much better choice, as there were hardly any people around except for a few campers. If I had a caravan, I would definitely join them and enjoy a few days in this beautifully deserted paradise!
