Located among the picturesque surroundings, lies a beach that boasts of a natural pool. The breathtaking beauty of the beach is truly mesmerizing✨️. You can choose to take a leisurely stroll to the beach, which may take around 30 minutes, or opt for an ojek ride on a motorcycle that will get you there in a jiffy, for a nominal cost of 40,000 rupiah. The tranquil sound of waves crashing against the shore and the stunning vista of the beach make for an unforgettable experience. It's a perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate your senses. Make sure to add this destination to your bucket list and visit it at least once in your lifetime.
The beach is a hidden treasure, with a natural pool that is a refreshing oasis after the treacherous journey to get there. The view and waves are the only things worth enjoying, as the journey itself is not for the faint of heart. We foolishly attempted to bike down, but our lack of expertise led to a wild ride down the first hill and a desperate plea for help from two taxi drivers. If you're not a pro at navigating broken and extreme roads, it's best to stick to a taxi bike or walking. Despite the adventure, the beach is truly a stunning place to visit.
Firstly, if you are not experienced in riding a motorbike in Asia, it is highly advised that you do not attempt to ride down the steep and rocky road leading to the beach. The risk is not worth it, so it is recommended that you park your motorbike and walk the 30 minutes instead. On a more positive note, the beach itself is absolutely stunning and enjoyable. The small pond before the beach is not salt water, which makes it a lovely spot for a swim. It is recommended to arrive before the afternoon rush to avoid crowds.
The directions to get to this beach were quite difficult as the map we had was inaccurate and we had to navigate through some rough and mountainous areas. However, we later discovered an alternate route to get there. Despite the challenge to reach it, the beach itself is stunning and definitely worth the bike ride or hike (which takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour). It's a small beach, but absolutely beautiful.
The beach offers magnificent waves that are perfect for admiring rather than swimming. Unfortunately, the recent flood has caused significant damage to the area, including the displacement of local vendors and the destruction of the natural pool. Upon arrival, visitors have the option to continue on their motorbike or hire a local motorbike taxi for a fee of 50K per person. The taxi driver is willing to wait for as long as you desire, even if it's the entire day. It's highly recommended to opt for a motorbike taxi instead of riding down on your own, especially if you have a passenger. The ride is quite rough and poses a significant challenge and risk. To support the local economy, it's encouraged to purchase items from the lone vendor present at the beach. Though a toilet is available, it appears to be poorly maintained.
