The beach offers a unique feature of black sand, however, it is not well-maintained and often littered with debris brought in by the waves. Swimming is not recommended due to strong currents and underwater streams, particularly for children. While some visitors attempt to catch fish, it seems to be an elusive feat. A serene river flows into the beach on the west side, accompanied by a beautiful Pura that should be respected and not entered without permission. Additionally, a local graveyard is nearby, and it is crucial to remember that the walls surrounding the Pura are sacred and should not be sat on or crossed. On festive occasions, it is crucial to seek permission before taking photographs. If you're lucky, you may spot a small crocodile near the river, which would make for an excellent photo opportunity. The beach's fortification is frequently altered by the powerful waves, and the river's flow can change within days, making it an awe-inspiring sight to behold.

The beach at Rangkan is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view of the Villa beach. The area around the Villa is peaceful and serene, making it the perfect spot to relax and soak up the beauty of the beach. However, it's worth noting that there is currently some construction work taking place in the area.

I absolutely adore Pantai Rangkan beach. It offers a peaceful retreat where you can swim in the ocean and enjoy the stunning view of beautiful fishing boats. The place where the river meets the ocean is simply breathtaking. I highly recommend this beach to any tourist visiting Bali. Additionally, the black sand adds a unique touch to the already amazing experience. It is definitely worth a visit and one of my favorite spots on the island.

4 Frustrating

This is a beach that is popular among fishermen who come here to catch lobsters and other seafood. Despite the presence of villas across the river, this beach has managed to retain its non-touristy feel. You won't find any sunscreen, bars, or soft drinks here. Instead, you'll be surrounded by natural elements like sand and organic matter, and you might even come across a local villager who will be surprised to see you.

The beach has black sand and is quite intriguing due to the number of people fishing with their joran. Additionally, there are numerous traditional fishing boats present. I had the opportunity to engage in some meaningful conversations with local fishermen about the trash on the beach and political concerns.
