South Beach is located on the Bali Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 116th place out of 160 beaches in the Bali region 57.9 km away from its center, the city of Denpasar. It is one of the beaches of Purwakerti settlement, just 0.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal blue water and gray sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

South Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, changing rooms, toilets. .

The beach is quite long and has beautiful black sand that sparkles in the sunlight. It is also the main location for the traditional fisherman boat called "JUKUNG." Additionally, there is a traditional salt maker field nearby.
