Rasthakaadu Beach is located on the Laccadive Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 52th place out of 184 beaches in the Tamil Nadu region 621.7 km away from its center, the city of Chennai. It is one of the beaches of Paulkulam settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Fantastic beach - very clean beach with no trash and no crowds

This beach is quiet and suitable for a small number of people. It is isolated and has no shops nearby, except for a few seasonal ones. You can park your car on the side of the road and enjoy bathing in the water without any problems.

Location: Situated just 1km from the Kanyakumari highway Food: There are couple of local vendors available who serve corn, bajji, paruthipal paayasam Atmosphere: The beach is not crowded and suitable for bathing as well. We can see Red, Yellow, and Black sand on the shore and can collect shells. We can see Kanyakumari from one side and Kudankulam from the other side.

Great place to see the sunrise. Very less or no crowded at all, although the waves are very dangerous and have to be careful with that. Overall awesome place to hangout in the evening or morning. You can also see the edge of the Kanniyakumari from here.

This beach was a pleasure to be in! The waves were the perfect size, and the area was nice and mostly clean. There wasn't much of a crowd, and the beach was very big, as well as the water was nice and clean. I would recommend you go to this beach if you want to have a fun time playing in the water and the sand.
