Calm Beach is located on the Laccadive Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 118th place out of 184 beaches in the Tamil Nadu region 622.8 km away from its center, the city of Chennai. It is one of the beaches of Paulkulam settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Calm Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

Based on its name, the beach is truly serene and notably clean and tidy. It is generally not crowded, so I recommend visiting in a group. Additionally, you can easily spot Kanyakumari and Vattakottai nearby. You can spend a lot of time there without any disturbances. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this location.
