However, winter nights from December to February can get slightly chilly. The monsoon season brings rain from June to September, and most places close down during this time. Tourist season starts from late October and continues until late March. One of the highlights of Patnem is the Jaali cafe, which serves delicious small plates of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired cuisine, along with great coffee, cakes, and cocktails. The garden setting of the cafe makes it a delightful spot to hang out and unwind.

During my stay in close proximity to Patnem Beach, I discovered that it's an ideal spot for swimming thanks to its gentle tides. I even had the opportunity to partake in some friendly games of volleyball and football with fellow beach-goers. However, what truly captivated me was the breathtaking sunset. Patnem Beach offers one of the most picturesque views of the sun setting over the horizon, and the best part? It's not overcrowded. For an even better vantage point, one can climb atop a few rocks situated around the beach. It's a serene experience as people gather in silence to appreciate the beauty of the sunset. Plus, the beach is kept immaculately clean, making it a true gem among the beaches in the area.
