Varca Beach is located on the Arabian Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 53th place out of 71 beaches in the Goa region 5.7 km away from its center, the city of Margao. It is one of the beaches of Varca settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Varca Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

The pristine beach boasts of impeccable cleanliness that is a testament to the efforts of the caretakers. The convenience of a changing room right outside the beach makes it easy to change into your beachwear without any hassle. However, the parking space is not up to the mark and can be a bit of a challenge. But fret not, as a delightful beachside restaurant awaits you with scrumptious food and stunning views. Although there are no water sports activities available, the tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking scenery more than make up for it.

On weekends, the area can become quite busy with locals flocking to the shore, making parking a challenge due to the narrow road.
