Benaulim Beach is located on the Arabian Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 36th place out of 71 beaches in the Goa region 4.6 km away from its center, the city of Margao. It is one of the beaches of Benaulim settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Benaulim Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Located in the southern part of Goa, this beach is truly a hidden gem. It boasts of being one of the cleanest and most pristine beaches in the area, with very few people around. What's interesting is that almost 95% of the visitors here are foreigners, making it a unique experience for those looking to immerse themselves in different cultures. The sand is a beautiful combination of gold and silver, perfect for capturing stunning pictures. This beach is definitely a must-visit destination, and the best part is that parking is free!

Palolem may be my top pick, but this beach comes in at a close second. Nestled amidst a cluster of beaches, this one offers easy access to several others on foot. It's immaculate, and the presence of numerous lifeguards ensures optimal safety. The beach shacks are also quite affordable and offer a diverse range of options.

Benaulim beach is known for its cleanliness and moderate crowds, making it a special destination in Goa. The long stretch of golden and silver sand, along with well-maintained shacks, add to the charm of the beach. Water sports activities are also available, and visitors may even spot star fish and dolphins in the water. Located about 30 kilometers from Panjim, the beach offers a peaceful escape amidst lush green paddy fields. The nearby Colva beach is just a short distance away, and early morning beach walks are a great way to start the day. The sunsets here are also spectacular and the food at the shacks is delicious.
